Professor David Lindenmayer is an expert in forest and woodland ecology, resource management and conservation science from ANU and is ranked among Australia's top 50 scientists. He will be speaking about the release of his latest book The Forest Wars. Based at The Australian National University, he has led some of the largest scale environmental research programs in Australia for over four decades. He is the author of 49 books on forests, including The Great Forest. His life has been dedicated to forests and forest management.
